Meet Duong Sheahan

If Duong Sheahan could be described in one word, it would be "compassion". Duong's love for and understanding of people is amazing and her ability to help them is invaluable. She is truly compassionate; she not only knows what it feels like to be empty, hurt, alone, sick, and desperate, but desires immensely to see hurting people set free. Duong's humility and warmth make it a joy to be around her. Her genuine empathy causes many to trust her and receive help from her.

Duong gives personal attention and love to each individual treating them as special ones uniquely made by God. Yet, there is no "fluff" with her-she gets down to the real facts of what is right and true. You can always count on her to be forthright and honest about your situation. But she gives people what they really need to hear. As the Bible instructs us in Ephesians, Duong "speaks the truth in love".

Duong's disposition as a young Christian woman is fresh and inspiring. She has never backed down from difficult challenges, but has risen up allowing God to change her and make her stronger with each situation. This was clearly evident in her ability to overcome cultural obstacles as a young Vietnamese child entering America in the mid 1970's.

Duong is a down to earth woman who loves God with all of her heart and soul. She exemplifies what it is to be a continual learner. Her understanding of health is evident in her ability to articulate "medical situations" in laymen's terms. While her research is extensive and thorough, she is concise and to the point in her communication making the truths she shares easy to understand and apply to everyday life.  

What is so pleasant about Duong is that she doesn't use her knowledge to prop herself up or sound intellectual, but to help others find their freedom in every area of their life, spirit, soul, and body. She genuinely cares for others. Because of her compassion, God is using Duong through this website to help women of all backgrounds find their true beauty inside and out.

As a wife and mother of three children, Duong is dedicated to giving her family the absolute best spiritually, emotionally and physically. She works hard planning healthy meals and providing them with a foundation for a healthy future. In addition, she is furthering her education earning a degree in Nutrition with an emphasis on natural health and prevention.
